Areas of Practice include Criminal Prosecution for the Cities of Eagan and Mendota Heights, Small Business and Commercial Transactions, Civil Litigation including Uniform Commercial Code, Warranties (including Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act claims and vehicle Lemon Law), Adversary Proceedings including Fraudulent Transactions, and Wage and Hour Law (including FLSA overtime claims).

Bill is a Shareholder with the firm, born in Washington, D.C. on March 27, 1966 and admitted to the Bar in 1995, Minnesota; 1996, U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota. Education: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A. 1989); Hamline Law School (J.D. 1995), Associate Editor, Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy 1994-1995, Honorable Mention, 1995 Judge Manos Writing Competition on Evidence, Cleveland State Law Review. Member of Minnesota State Bar Association, Dakota County Bar Association, and American Bar Association (Criminal Law Section).

Bill is a past Chair of the Criminal Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association (2010-2011) and currently an Assembly Representative to the MSBA.

Bill was awarded a Metro Prosecutor Award by Mothers Against Drunk Driving in 2008 and presented with a Dakota County Service Star by Mothers Against Drunk Driving in 2009.

Bill has litigated cases on a Pro Hac Vice basis in several federal courts including the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of Ohio, the District of Delaware, and the Northern District of Alabama.

Bill is an avid runner having run Varsity Cross Country in college and now continuing his passion by finishing over 20 marathons including The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, Grandma’s Marathon, The Chicago Marathon, The New York City Marathon, and The Boston Marathon; with a personal best marathon time of 3:08:27.
