Mr. Grannis is
a former Shareholder and currently Of Counsel to the firm. Born
in St. Paul, MN January 16, 1937. Admitted to Bar 1960, Minnesota;
1979 U.S. Supreme Court; 1988 Wisconsin. Education: University
of Minnesota (B.S.L., 1960, L.L.B., cum laude 1960). Mayor of
Inver Grove Heights, MN 1965-1968. Special Municipal Judge,
City of South St. Paul 1970-1971. Member of First Judicial District,
Minnesota State and American Bar Associations.
Vance Grannis is
the third generation of the Grannis family to practice with
the firm and its predecessors. In addition to a long and varied
career practicing law, Vance Grannis spends his spare time raising
horses, swans, peacocks and other domesticated animals on his
farm in Inver Grove Heights. He serves as the firm’s environmental
conscience and ensures that all discarded aluminum and paper
is promptly recycled. |
